My wife bought me this chest two years ago. I own a large assortment of automotive and wood working tools (power and hand). So i required a large rolling chest that could accommodate them securely, this box does the job and then some. The casters were a snap to install, the draws have yet to jamb from weight. The quality of this box is “Right in your face” ! You open the draw and you see how well they are made, draw liners ARE INCLUDED ! My power tools have a home now , which keeps them cleaner then sitting on the pegboard. Save up and get, you’ll NOT regret it !

Best toolbox on the market in its price range. HEAVY DUTY. heavy duty casters that lock and unlock with ease, two built in power strips, bumpers, and a handle for manuvering the entire thing with ease in any shop, despite its total weight. I love this thing so much, I'd marry it if I could. Thanks Milwaukee, you've made me a loyal fan for life!!!

I didn't purchase my Milwaukee tool chest from Amazon but I feel strongly enough about it to write a review. I must of looked at a 100 other tool chests in person before deciding on this one. Every time I go into my garage and see it I know I made the best choice. If you decide to buy this tool chest you will not be disappointed, especially for the price.

Purchased at Home Depot***Next step up from this is a tool truck box like matco snap on the like...You won't find a better box for the average joe.

It's as good as everyone says.About the powerstrips though: The cord has a vertical right-angle plug (it feeds directly down from the plug). Therefore if it's plugged into the upper of a receptacle, the lower of the receptacle cannot be used. Because of this the lower and upper tool chests cannot be plugged into the same receptacle.

I've seen some thorough reviews given for this case, so I'll avoid trying to outdo them in any serious fashion. Instead, I'll go in this direction...I've seen several questions asking where this case is made. I don't know and didn't bother to check because I presume it was made in one of two possible places: tool-man's heaven (It's real. I'm living in it now thanks to these cabinets.) or Santa's workshop (The red leads me to think it's possible the big guy was involved in building these.)If anyone has every wondered if their wife truly loved them, this is the only test they'll ever need. If she purchases it for you for your anniversary, it's bonafide, unequivocal, forever love. I'm in love all over again. (With my wife AND these tool chests.)Seriously, this is a quality product. The caster wheels are rock solid with large bearings that make this heavy beast easy to move, glide even. The little things like flush-built power strips, soft landing gliding drawers, corner bumpers, split pass-through grommets, and bonus matting push it to another level. Much more space that I presumed when I first saw it at HD. I've got too many tools to put everything in it, but I made out well all the same. What I also like and will mention to anyone considering buying these is that the product lives up to it's humble claims as a heavy-duty drawer. It will outlast me. I've already told my boys they'll have to figure it out among themselves who'll inherit this beauty, though I'll try my best to take it with me in the next existence if I can.My two, small, gripes.1. My top case came with a scratch in the red paint. Kinda hard to miss as my eyes are still sharp.2. The plugs! While nice and heavy, they would benefit from have a rotating/swivel head on them. I say this because you cannot plug two of them (if you have the top and bottom chests) into one wall socket -not unless your sockets has the ground prong going in opposite directions. I did use a six-way socket to solve this issue over a power-strip.

This toolbox is far superior to others in the category with similar prices. To find something comparable you have to spend $1500-$2000. I unboxed mine, assembled it, and started putting tools in the drawers in less than 40 minutes. I also mounted an LED strip light on a magnet and then mounted inside the lid. The only thing I thought was missing from the unboxing was the light. I would highly recommend purchasing this unit if you need some serious tool organization for your garage.

This tool chest is brand new and I purchased the set ( can be bought separately) the moment I opened the box the first thing I noticed was quality at last. Assembly was a real pleasure all threadings line up perfectly and all hardware are quality. bolts are not cheap junk with cheap junk threadings like some other brands (that are exclusive to Home Depot). Tip cart over on its back side gently use box as padding on the floor and install casters. My last cart witch I returned was a real nightmare getting the casters on, this was very very again simple and easy everything aligns and there's room for a socket to fit so you don't have I fiddle with an open end wrench for 3 hours Just to bring out a point the quality of steel on this entire cart from A to Z is so fine I don't care one bit where it was made Although normally I like to stay clear from made in China garbage. As for the features of the cart ???? Read the description and view the pictures that's not the purpose of a review. However I will mention just a few things that stand out the most. 1. Praise to Milwaukee for including the drawer liners perfectly cut to size for you for every single drawer in the cart. So logical so simple and probably not that expensive on there end. Made my life easier. It even comes with double sided tape so you can really get the liners to stay in place. 2. The power outlets wow ! Again a simple but brilliant and game changing feature They also take up no space as they are built in flush into the walls ( outer and inner). 3. Just a beautiful looking chest must be seen in person to appreciate in my opinion looks nicer than any other chest I've seen Although things like that aren't deciding factors for tools I purchase but it's a nice bonus when everything is such exceptional quality. 4. Bottom draws are really deep and hold very bulky items. All in all this cart transformed my garage from a disaster of a mess into a functioning work space. Although I'm using this at home Without the slightest doubt this is professional industrial quality witch I think would hold up nicely in and on any work area that requires organization and functionality. Thank you Milwaukee for making such a high quality game changing tool chest I never saw something like this coming and I am so glad it did Just an add on I had to move in the summer time and back after the summer as my rental is only for the winter being obsessed with my tools I had to bring it with me and was way to lazy to take everything out and disassemble luckily for me I was no ring only 3 blocks away and decided to wheel it through the rough hilly streets of New Jersey without taking anything out. On the contrary it was stuffed with triple of what I normally keep in there as I have many miscellaneous wood working tools saw blades table saw jigs hand planes this thing must have weighed close to 8 or 900 pounds. Agreed it was a bit risky and physics had to be taken into account for when wheeling this thing on a angle do to rough streets but it was doable the casters where such good quality that it made it the whole way without getting jammed or stuck once

Over the decades, I've favored various pro tool brands. Clearly, Milwaukee Tools is focused on product development with the outcome being innovative quality. This chest is no exception. The details of the description are spot on. The chest can be bought through Home Depot, but often not displayed. They say the demand is extraordinary. It's the Sherman tank of chests; the casters are excellent. But, if you need a chest that you can easily bring to your work within your shop, it's too massive. Don't know about the comparable Dewalt, but I find the Husky to be disappointing: bad drawer action for one thing.
